This is not a template-driven or web-based service. Full personal / business specific details are included (where appropriate) and the finished documents are delivered to your door ready-to-sign.

All items are developed from scratch, the design and content can be fully tailored according to your specific requirements (incorporating your company colours, logo etc). Documents are professionally finished, incorporating binding and covers to suit your requirements.

Employment Law Package

Ideal for businesses of all sizes, we will provide a full review & subsequent overhaul of your Staff Contracts, workplace rules and procedures. The Staff Handbooks contain a statutory level of Health & Safety documentation which, when supplemented by the relevant Risk Assessments, may be sufficient for businesses in low-risk environments. The package contains all items listed below:

  • Audit of Employment Law / Health & Safety / HR procedures
  • Design & Production of Terms & Conditions of Employment* for each employee
  • Design & Production of Staff  Handbooks** (taken from initial audit)
  • Production of any required Forms & Records (Self Cert Form, Application for Employment etc)

*Terms & Conditions of Employment

All employees are entitled to a written contract after 8 weeks of employment. A series of statutory information must be contained within this contract.These basic terms are known as the Terms and Conditions of Employment and include statutory defined points such as Job Title, Rate of Pay, Holiday Entitlement, Disciplinary & Grievance Procedure etc.

**Staff Handbooks

A Staff Handbook is a comprehensive document that provides your employees with your own business / building specific rules & regulations (as opposed to the statutory information contained within the Terms & Conditions of Employment). It includes general policies such as Mobile Phone / Email / Internet usage, Smoking, Business Solicitation, Hygiene etc. Documenting your own staff policies & requirements provides you with a safe, legal basis on which to act should breach of these rules occur, as you avoid the dreaded 'verbal contract' arguement that often rears it's head in employee disputes. Implementing sound Staff Handbooks is therefore one of the cheapest & most effective ways of avoiding awards made against you at Employment Tribunals.
